Why Get Financed Lab?

We all know money is a very sensitive topic, especially in our Filipino culture. Not everyone is comfortable talking about money. I am not even comfortable talking about it around friends and family.

However, money knows no language or ethnicity. It’s a very universal thing that I’ve made it a mission to share my frugal journey not just with my countrymen, but also with the whole world. My blog speaks to anyone wanting to learn more about how to handle their finances.

Are you one of the following?

  • – Eager to change your poor spending habits so you can take charge of your life and improve your financial situation.

I used to be a very big spender with no regard to where my money was spent. I loved eating out often because I had this belief that since I worked hard for my money, I deserve to spend it however I want. This got me living paycheck to paycheck every month.

When I suddenly lost my job a few years ago due to my employer going bankrupt, I realized that nothing is certain in this world. That I should prepare for these kinds of events and that I should prepare for what lies ahead when my child grows up and we retire.

I started being passionate about personal finance and want to help others become debt-free and financially secure. I am embarking on this journey with you, so know that I am not any better than everyone else. I am a working progress and I chose to share this progress with you.
